Signature Programs and Events

Banking on Your Future - The Kansas FFA Foundation recognizes the value and opportunity the Kansas banking industry offers to the Kansas FFA Association members. As a result, the Foundation and the Kansas Bankers Association and Kansas Ag Bankers have established the “We’re Banking on your Future” program to encourage FFA members to learn more about the banking industry and acquire the skills they need to be successful while helping Kansas banks connect with talented young people who could potentially lead the industry in the future.

The “We’re Banking on your Future” program is designed to help encourage FFA members to consider a career in banking, give them a chance to learn about the industry first-hand, and, through this process, determine how the FFA can help the state’s banking community.

Blue & Gold Golf Scramble
Blue & Gold Golf Scramble - Kansas agricultural educators, alumni, friends, and guests meet on the links each July to celebrate and support FFA in Kansas. Business & Industry Tours - Business and Industry Tours are key educational opportunities for our Kansas FFA State Officer team. These tours are designed to broaden our understanding of Kansas agribusiness and to take an intimate look at challenges and opportunities within a specific sector. Secondly, Business and Industry Tours provide an open platform to update business leaders on the Kansas FFA Association and agricultural education programs.

Cargill Blue Jacket Program - In 2010 the foundation and Cargill Meat Solutions launched our Cargill Blue Jacket grant program for members experiencing financial strain. Since then, more than 50 Blue Jacket grant awards have been presented to deserving members for the purchase of a new corduroy jacket. The Kansas FFA Alumni Association enhances the gifts by gifting new scarves and ties, making the grant complete for each recipient.

What People Are Saying

“I give to the foundation because the FFA has and continues to give to me. Whether it’s the scholarships received or development events attended as a student, or people skills and analytical skills I use in my current role, I continue to benefit from my time spent as a FFA member. Once a year I’m able to send a check to the foundation and it also qualifies for my company’s match program.”
