Growing the Future of Agriculture through Give FFA Day

In celebration of National FFA Week, National FFA is celebrating Give FFA Day, an online donation campaign that will promote the spirit of giving in FFA. This year, the event takes place on February 25th, the Thursday of National FFA Week. For this particular campaign, donations will only be accepted on that day, as we wish to highlight a concentrated effort to support FFA programs around the country.

For the sixth year, during National FFA Week, individuals will have the opportunity to step up and support FFA and agricultural education through Give FFA Day. Funds raised support various programs on local, state, and national levels. During the 24 hours of giving, donors will have the option to donate directly to state of their choice.

Your support can be directed right to the Kansas FFA Foundation, just select Kansas FFA when making your donation on February 25. The mission of the Kansas FFA Foundation is to develop and sustain collaborative relationships while empowering future leaders and their passions.

Beth Gaines, Director of the Kansas FFA Foundation recognizes that through generous sponsors she can continue to support the FFA members of Kansas. “Thank you for supporting our FFA members and recognizing the work those students continue to grow in the future.”

For more than 90 years, the organization has strived to make a difference in students’ lives. FFA knows it is growing the future generation of leaders and through programming, students can find their path to success. This year, the organization has a goal of achieving 1,500 donors. FFA hopes to achieve this by challenging students and other stakeholders throughout the day. To prepare for Give FFA Day, visit FFA.org/GiveFFADay. See how you can give back to the organization.
